On the afternoon of June 29, NINGKE Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NINGKE”) and the China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CTSI”) held a signing ceremony at CTSI’s headquarters in Beijing for the “Industry–University–Research Cooperation Agreement on High-Performance Long-Chain Nylon Materials.” Representing NINGKE were Director Liu Xirong, Deputy General Managers Li Zhongfu, Qu Xiaochun, and Liu Anjian; representing CTSI were Director, Party Secretary, and General Manager Ma Yongmei, Chief Expert on Advanced Materials and Executive Deputy Director of the All‑Weight Laboratory Xu Jigang, along with other key technical personnel. Invited government officials—including Wang Zhenxing, Deputy District Mayor of Huinong District, Shizuishan City; Ding Yong, Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the Municipal Economic Development Zone; and Li Bo, Director of the Huinong District Science and Technology Bureau—attended the ceremony to witness the signing.

This collaboration represents both NINGKE’s proactive exploration into the downstream segment of the long-chain dicarboxylic acid industry chain and a two-way synergy between technology and industry. NINGKE has been deeply engaged in the industrialization of biomanufacturing; dodecanedioic acid has already achieved commercial sales, and its Shizuishan production base boasts integrated advantages in cogeneration and regional supply chains, providing robust industrial support for entering the field of high-performance polyamide new materials. Under the cooperation agreement, the two parties will center on high-end imported nylon grades to build a complete R&D value chain spanning “dicarboxylic acid raw materials—nylon precursor raw materials—polymerization—modification—applications.” Leveraging the China Textile Academy’s Tianjin Wuqing industrial-scale pilot base, they will conduct R&D and pilot-scale production of general-purpose, transparent, and high-temperature long-chain nylons, advancing industrialization‑related technology development, process package formulation, and domestic equipment localization. Product applications will focus on key sectors such as automotive, electronics, textiles, and healthcare. Meanwhile, the two sides plan to jointly establish a national-level innovation center for high-performance nylon new materials, collaboratively develop a product carbon footprint system and life-cycle carbon emission standards, systematically promote standard-setting, intellectual property strategy, and brand building, and strive to fundamentally resolve China’s bottleneck in high-end nylon materials.
