The core initiative is to abandon the high-pollution drawbacks of traditional chemical synthesis methods and focus on the iterative upgrading of bio-based production technologies. Relying on the technological foundation of the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, we have developed a third-generation bio-based large-chain dicarboxylic acid production technology with independent intellectual property rights. In particular, our unique aqueous-phase purification process replaces chemical solvents such as methanol and acetic acid with clean water for product extraction and purification, ensuring that the entire production process remains free from organic solvent contamination. This not only guarantees product purity at the polymer-grade level but also eliminates at the source the environmental hazards caused by the volatilization of organic solvents, thereby fully aligning with the core principles of green chemistry.


Technical optimization achieves synergistic improvements in reducing consumption and enhancing quality.

The company has integrated production technology into a comprehensive, classified processing solution. By synergistically advancing technological upgrades and equipment improvements, we continuously enhance the efficiency of our core production units. For example, with regard to the smallest unit—the fermentation tank—we’ve boosted fermentation performance to increase the output per tank, thereby reducing energy consumption per unit of product. At the same time, we’ve independently developed fermentation reactors tailored to our new processes, and through optimizing both the production strains and fermentation control technologies, we’ve brought the acid-production efficiency of our fermentation units to an industry-leading level. This not only reduces raw material and energy consumption per unit but also lowers overall production costs, achieving a win-win outcome that balances environmental protection and economic benefits.


Expand industrial layout to foster a green product ecosystem.

On the one hand, the company is promoting the flexible upgrading of its production lines. Its controlled subsidiary, Zhongke Xincai Investment, has launched a technological upgrade project with an annual capacity of 110,000 tons for bio-fermentation products. Upon completion, the facility will be able to simultaneously produce multiple product series, including long-chain dicarboxylic acids and bio-fermentation functional products. These products are widely used in high-end fields such as specialty nylons and pharmaceutical intermediates, enabling the company to expand its market with high-value-added, eco-friendly products. On the other hand, the company is strengthening its coverage of the green industry through coordinated efforts among its subsidiaries. Its subsidiary, Hua Hui Environmental Protection, a national-level high-tech enterprise, holds several patents for energy-saving technologies in activated carbon production. The various types of environmentally friendly activated carbon it produces can be applied in areas such as water treatment and gas purification, forming a diversified green product portfolio together with the long-chain dicarboxylic acid business.


Strengthening energy allocation to lay a solid foundation for low-carbon production.

Leveraging its own power plant, the company has established an internal energy configuration advantage that integrates heat, electricity, and steam (or gas) production. Once production capacity is further expanded, the company will achieve energy self-sufficiency, significantly reducing additional carbon emissions and pollution risks associated with external energy dependence. Meanwhile, benefiting from Ningxia’s abundant local raw material supply, short transportation distances, and regionally competitive energy prices, the company can further lower its carbon footprint across the entire production process, providing stable and reliable conditions for low-carbon manufacturing.


At the strategic level, anchor long-term goals for green development.

The company is clearly focused on the guiding principle of “improving industrial quality and promoting green development.” In its restructuring plan, it also emphasizes responding to policies for green, low-carbon, and circular development. By leveraging the strength of industrial investors, the company aims to optimize bio-fermentation production technologies and scale up their application. At the same time, through further technological innovation, it will unlock the potential for high-value-added downstream products. Not only will the company itself adopt green production practices, but it will also help upstream and downstream industries develop together, driving the entire industrial chain toward green and high-quality growth.
